since yesterday, i've been officially unemployed... i resigned from my job after 4 months of working there... now, i'm still looking for a new job, but i'm not in a hurry... i also need some time off from work... hehehe!
anyways, team usa won the bronze medal in the men's basketball in the athens olympics... they lost to argentina the game before, so they had to settle for the bronze and won the bronze medal game over lithuania, who defeated them earlier in the tourney... argentina, led by san antonio spurs guard manu ginobili, went on to win the gold medal after beating italy... even if the us ONLY won the bronze, i'm proud of these guys because they were committed for this thing... lots of higher-rated and more talented nba players declined to play in athens, and these lesser known, younger players stepped up for their country... they sacrificed a lot, and even if they lost a few games (3 losses in fact), they still played 'til the last minute... kudos for that...
by the way, i got my ray lewis jersey yesterday from eBay... i really loved that jersey that i wore it as soon as i got it... i'm more of a ravens fan than a skins fan, actually... i should budget my money... naaadik na ako sa ebay... ika nga ni veng, "isa na ako sa mga 'ebay babies'"... hehehe!
i called my friend in socal yesterday to congratulate him and his wife for having their first kid last friday... i don't know if it's a boy or girl... i'll call them again during the weekend...
