over the past month or two, i've been thinking about the friendships that i've gained, and the friendships the i've lost in my life... you see, in life, we meet lots of acquaintances, but we only make a few friends... in almost 25 years of my existence, there are only a few number of people who i can definitely call a friend...
i've somewhat been blessed to have a number of close friends in my life... i'm glad i've met a lot of incredible people who've been there for me in good and bad times... i'm really thankful for those wonderful friendships that i have today...
unfortunately, i haven't really done the best job of taking good care of those friendships... there are times that i just intend to blow up in front of someone, or even some people... other times, i just hurt them with some words or actions that just pop out of nowhere... and there are times that i've somewhat kept myself from preventing other friendships to slip by...
anyways, this goes out to all of my friends that i've known from my early childhood up until now... friends that i've met in my elementary, high school, and college years... friends that i've met in cyberspace, via friendster or pinoyexchange...
to all of my friends who've i hurt in the past, or to those who i haven't kept in touch with for years, i'm very sorry...
to all of my friends who've been there for me in good times and in bad times, thank you...
and to all of my friends who have been and will always be there for me up until i'm gone, i love you...

remind me not to gamble or play poker online again...
last tuesday night, my friend in california invited me to join an online gambling site where you can play poker with other people... i've been playing poker online for a year now, but haven't played it with real money... so i joined and made a $20 deposit in my account...
at first i won as much as $10... not that big, but hey it's cool... then i got somewhat greedy and went to play until 3 am the next day... then when i woke up earlier, first thing i did was play poker online... wasn't that good though, as i lost not only all my winnings but also half of the money i placed in my account in a couple of hours...
in the end, i realized that gambling could be good at time, but you need to realize when to stop and you should put a limit on how much you're willing to spend because it could get pretty much addicting, and could easily eat up a lot of your time...
and i also realized poker ain't for me... well, in terms of playing with real money anyway...
i'm sticking to pusoy (poker but pinoy style) in the meantime hehehe!

it's sad and shocking to hear that current wwe wrestler eddie guerrero passed away... there are still no reports on what was the cause of his death...
he will be surely missed both on and off the ring, and up until now, it's still a huge shock and somewhat numbing for me that latino heat is gone...

wow... it's been a while since i last updated my blog...
well, there're some reasons why i wasn't able to update my blog for almost a month... there were times that i was busy looking for work, there were times that i was busy playing madden nfl 2006 on the ps2, and there are times that i'm just too lazy updating my blog... hehehe!
anyways, i'll start this post off by congratulating the chicago white sox for winning the 2005 world series over the houston astros via a 4-0 sweep... it's their first ws title since 1917... that's 88 years, my friends! so the red sox won it last year, and the white sox won it this year... i'm wondering when will the cubs win it... probably not... hehehe!
also, the nba season just got underway earlier this week... but i won't be paying that much attention to the nba as long as the nfl season doesn't end up until february next year...
and, oh yeah, the nhl is back after a one-year hiatus...
lots of sports happening this time around... it's great being a sports fan!
