even if i'm thousands of miles away, and i haven't paid my fullest attention to the 67th uaap men's basketball because of the fact that my beloved UST Tigers got their asses whipped the entire season, i'm still making my bold predictions on who's going to the finals...
so, now we're in the final 4, and the first semifinal, the FEU Tamaraws (11-3) will face the UE Warriors (8-6)... and since the Tams have MVP candidate Arwind Santos and a twice-to-beat advantage, i see FEU moving to the finals with relative ease...
in the other semifinal, it'll be the DLSU Green Archers (10-4) against the ADMU Blue Eagles (10-4)... they were both tied at the end or the elims, but the ballers from Taft got the twice-to-beat advantage after winning a playoff game against the ballers from Loyola... La Salle has been hot, winning its last 7 games, including that crucial playoff for #2 spot... on the other hand, Ateneo has lost 5 out of their last 8 games, including the playoff game, after going undefeated at the 1st round at 7-0... i see Ateneo forcing a sudden death game, but La Salle would bounce back and will move on the finals to face FEU...
anyways, the other teams who didn't make the final 4 were the UP Maroons (7-7), the Adamson Falcons (5-9), the UST Tigers (4-10) and the NU Bulldogs (1-13)... by the way, can you guess who NU defeated to get their only win of the season? okay don't answer that... lalo lang ako maiinis... hehehe!
my finals and mvp predictions? i'll give it to you when the semis are through... hehe!
as for the ncaa stuff... i know it's the PCU Dolphins against the UPHR Altas for the men's basketball title... but like i care! i'll just pick PCU to win, because dolphins are smart creatures...
