i was just reading one of my previous posts about my predictions who who will win the mlb playoffs and the world series... i can't believe i got every team right!

oh yeah, i know it's been more than a month late, but i just want to congratulate the boston red sox for winning this year's world series... i'm glad they finally reversed the curse, and the way they won against the new york yankees in the alcs, being down 0-3 in the series and 3 outs away from getting swept, they won 4 straight, including games 6 and 7 at the bronx... i almost broke to tears when that happened... and they just demolished the st. louis cardinals in the world series! schilling, pedro, manny, papi, and the rest of the idiots were just phenomenal... 86 years of waiting for a world series title, and they have done it! kudos to my boys in beantown!

oh, and they were actually named sports illustrated's 2004 sportsmen of the year...

-----

by the way, a telemarketer called earlier today... here's how it went:

Telemarketer: hello, this is ******* from the Washington Times, and I just want to ask if you'd like to try a free trial on a one-year subscription to the Washington Times. You won't have to pay for the first month. Would you like to try one?
Betong: Yes... *hangs up the phone*

i am so frickin' bad... hehehe!
