we went to zambales to spend the holy week... i think it's just the 2nd time since 1999 that i actually went to zambales... the other time was back in 2003... it was quite an experience!
we left metro manila thursday morning, and it took us about 5 hours to get to our destination... i'm quite impressed with the new nlex (north luzon expressway)... it makes travelling up north a lot faster and easier...
first, we went to palauig in iba, zambales to spend the night... once we got there around late afternoon, i immediately went to sleep since i haven't had some rest ever since i came here in the philippines... woke up around 4 am, and went to check the beach... it was romantic! the moon was bright and the tides were low... even some people slept under the moonlight... even took some pictures... i'll post them once they're available (including jm's pics... sorry... god i miss that kid...)...
we left palauig friday afternoon, and we went to my aunt's place in subic... took us 2 hours of driving to get there... once we got there, we immediately went inside the sbma... god i love that place! we saw some people who were riding jetskis and we ate dinner there... after that, we went back to subic to get some sleep...
the next day, we went to a mountain resort where my uncle is celebrating his birthday... it was also the chance for me to see some of my cousins... it was really great seeing my cousins again... then we left at around 2pm, and then we stopped over at the royal subic mall inside sbma to buy some stuff... after some shopping, we went back to quezon city... the traffic was crazy, but it's all good... got here in quezon city at around 10pm... man i was so tired at that time!
but i am definitely coming back to subic at least one more time before i go back to the united states...
