just got back from puerto galera in oriental mindoro... stayed there for 4 days... it's the best place i have ever been so far in my entire life...
it's a 3-hour trip from metro manila to batangas pier, and a 1 1/2-hour boat ride from the pier to mindoro... i tell you, they need to set up an airport there nearby... riding on a boat makes me feel dizzy... heck, even just thinking about it makes me dizzy! biruin mo bang halos 10 ata ang sumuka nung papunta na kami galing puerto galera hanggang batangas... hahaha!
anyways, we bought some pasalubong for some of our friends and barkadas... bought myself a pair of t-shirts and a bracelet and a necklace... astig! also took some pictures, which i'll post here once they're available... went to the beach and swam under the sun for a bit, and it made my skin look a little tanner than before...
and there's this specialty that they have... it's called the mindoro sling... it's a drink that they mixed with gin, i think... it's a shame that i didn't get the recipe, but hopefully they have it somewhere in the internet, so i'll just search for it... drank for like 3 straight days along with my friends... nalasing nga kami to the point na nagsisigawan kami ng mala-ric flair na "wooooooooooooooooooo!"... hahaha!
overall, it's a great experience... the only thing i hate was the fact that we had to travel by boat, but nevertheless, it was still great... i'll be coming back if i get the chance...
