first of all, i just wanted to greet my achi lucy and my friend jovy a happy birthday... they'll be celebrating their birthdays on july 6...

-----

the 68th uaap men's basketball season is going to start this saturday (july 9), and since i don't have anything to post at this time, i guess it's time for me to give my fearless forecast on who'll be contending and who'll be pretending this year:

1. Far Eastern University (FEU) - with Arwind Santos playing for another year, expect the Tams to contend again this year for the championship...
2. De La Salle University (DLSU) - the departure of Mark Cardona certainly hurts the defending champs, but the boys from Taft will look to repeat with Joseph Yeo leading the way...
3. Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) - the ballers from Loyola will be led by LA Tenorio, and they're expected to be in the Final 4 for the 7th straight year...
4. University of The East (UE) - it'll be a close fight for the #4 spot between UE, UP, and Adamson, but the Warriors will take it...
5. University of The Philippines (UP) - the darkhorse this season, the Maroons will underachieve again as they usually struggle in the beggining of the season and finish strong when it's a little too late...
6. Adamson University (AdU) - this year's hosts may contend for a spot in the final 4, but that's as far as they will go...
7. University of Santo Tomas (UST) - well, at least the cheering competitions are a few months away...
8. National University (NU) - may contend for the #7 spot against UST, but that would be as far as they'll go, unless if something miraculous happens in favor of the Bulldogs...

so those are my predictions... although i strongly feel that my alma mater UST may pull off a few surprises this season, i think they would still suck this season... i' predicting that FEU would win it all this year against DLSU, with Arwind Santos emerging as this year's MVP...

anyways, that's it for now... catch y'all later!
