the feu tamaraws were going to sweep the dlsu green archers in the finals for the 2005 uaap men's basketball crown...
and i was right...
led my uaap's mvp and king tamaraw arwind santos, the ballers from morayta managed to win their best-of-3 finals against the archers, 2-0, and win their 18th men's basketball crown...
but the archers, who won the title last year against the tams, didn't go down without a fight up until the very end...
the two games in the finals were decided by a combined total of 4 points, so it's clear that both games could've gone either way...
anyways, hats off to both teams for a great series... but in the end, there can only be one champion...

also, better late than never...
congrats to the letran knights for winning the 2005 ncaa men's basketball title over the pcu dolphins a couple of weeks ago...
finishing the regular season at 13-1 and dismantling the san sebastian stags in the ncaa final four, it looked like the knights would choke after losing game 1 of their best-of-three finals against the dolphins... but the knights regrouped and took the last 2 games, and gave them their 2nd title in 3 years...

well, now that both the uaap and ncaa collegiate basketball seasons are over, i can now focus more on the nfl, the mlb postseason, and the nhl... oh, and by the way, the nba season starts less than a month from now... hehehe!
