i was watching the tfc network earlier today and this just came up to me...
aside from all being on the tfc network, what do certain programs like wowowee, wazzup wazzup, pilipinas game knb?, bora, gudtaym, the buzz, etk, the buzz, star circle quest, pinoy big brother, goin' bulilit, and homeboy have in common?
they're all sad excuses for a tv show, that's what.
heck, even these tv personalities can't act for crying out loud!
take for instance the "amir of rap" carlos agassi... i remember watching him doing a live halftime show during the admu-dlsu game at the araneta in 2000... after he performed, he got booed out of the court... hah! a few years later, this ashton kutcher-wannabe got a prank show entitled "victim", which is quite copied from kutcher's show on mtv "punk'd"... it didn't last long, and in the end, he showed to everyone that he surely is a "victim" of his own lameness...
"amir of rap"? heh, more of like the "amir of crap"...
there're also a lot of actors and actresses who can't frickin' act, especially the teenyboppers (*cough* gross joross *cough* sucky sandara)...
in the words of a conyotic teenager, "they're making pa-tweetums sa camera oh! so baduy! nakaka-ewww! yaaaak!"
it's a good thing that katrina halili, camille prats, and the like started posing for FHM... here's hoping for shaina magdayao in the near future hehehe!
now, if you're saying that i'm biased against the "kapamilya" network, well, we still don't have gma pinoy tv in our area, so i can't really say if the "kapuso" network is actually okay or not...
but i'm absolutely and positively sure that most of the tv shows in the philippines are pure crap, period.
p.s. how i miss the misadventures of maverick and ariel...
